THEFTS IN THE POWASSAN AREA

(Powassan, On): Powassan OPP were dispatched to two theft complaints over the weekend.

Sometime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday March 13, 2004, a green and yellow Galcier Trax 26 mountain bike was stolen from in front of 477 Main St. Powassan.

Last evening, Powassan OPP were alerted to a theft that occurred between Monday March 1 and Sunday March 14, 2004 in Port Loring.

Someone entered a property located at 11560 Highway 522 and took five wheels; four of which were aluminum American Racing wheels.

Four Dunlop Mud Rover tires and one Marshal tire.
The total value of the stolen property is $1.200.00.
