TWO ARRESTED IN WEEKEND BREAK-IN

(Eldee, Ontario)
Just after 6 a.m., on Sunday June 20th, 2004, North Bay OPP were dispatched to a break and enter to Goulet’s Confectionary/UPI Gas Bar on Highway 63, Eldee, Ontario. Two (2) males were observed leaving the garage by the owner.

The investigation lead to the arrests of two (2) males; a Young Person – who cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act; and, 18 year old Steven Rothwell of North Bay Ontario. Both parties were charged with:

Break and Enter Contrary to Section 349(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Rothwell and the Young Person were held in custody for a Bail Hear on Monday June 21st, and released. Rothwell’s next court appearance is on Tuesday June 29th, 2004.

The Young Person is scheduled to appear in court on June 30th, 2004. Both will be appearing in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 360 Plouffe Street, North Bay, Ontario.
