(North Bay, On): The ‘March Break’ has finally arrived! Many of our children are out of school and will be enjoying a week of amusement with their friends and family. The North Bay, Powassan and Mattawa OPP would like to remind motorists on highways and side roads to be alert for young children.
The weather and roads are still unpredictable at this time; so, please keep your speed down. If traveling with your loved ones, plan your trips and take the extra time to travel to allow for increased traffic, changing weather and inconsiderate motorists. Avoid a tragedy and keep an eye out for our children who will be taking advantage of the outdoors.
The OPP will be focusing their efforts on our highways and side roads; but, only you can ensure that you and your family will enjoy a safe March Break.
