YOUNG, Henrietta Josephine

Henrietta Young was surrounded by her family when she died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Saturday, June 23, 2007 in her 89th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Francis Young and loving mother of Shirley Radcliffe (Fred), North Bay; Monica Koehler (Carl), Kitchener; Cletus Young (Suzan), Oro; Joyce Leis (Lewis), Kitchener; Terry Young (Sherry), Powassan; Iona Hill (Cam), Waterloo; Kenneth Young (Colleen), Powassan; Jeffery Young (Bonnie), Waterloo and was predeceased by her son Hubert, daughter- in-law Belinda (Cletus) and great-grandson Preston. She was the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Henrietta was the dear sister of Bertha Playford of Kitchener, Mary Sowa of Kitchener, Louise McGillvery of Kitchener and John and Anthony Van Mierlo, both of Powassan. She was predeceased by her siblings Catherine Schlosser, Betty Weber and Vincent Van Mierlo.



Her family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan, on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with Prayer Service at 8:45 pm. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Church, Powassan. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek. If desired, donations in Henrietta's memory to Eastholme Palliative Care Room, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
