Passed away at the Mulcaster Mews Retirement Residence in Barrie on Friday, January 5th, 2007. Joan (nee Tomlin) in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Yankou. Dearly loved mother of Dawn Joanne Yankou of Barrie. Loving sister of Agnes Moyle of Mississauga. Joan will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and by her cat Miller. A funeral service will be held at the Jennett Chapel of the McCLELLAND & SLESSOR FUNERAL HOME, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie (705) 722-6656 on Tuesday, January 9th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (Section “S”) in Toronto at 2:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Mulcaster Mews Retirement Residence, Barrie or to the S.P.C.A.
