With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ruth, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the age of 78.
She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a 2-year battle with cancer.
Wife of the late Edward Wright, and predeceased by her parents, George and Elsie Coleman.
Ruth was the loving sister of Edna (Ron) Weddell, and mother to Glenn and Bruce Wright and Bev (John) Dool.
Ruth will also be missed by her grandchildren, Kim Morin, Aldege Morin and Carrie Clement, great-grandchildren Alexi and Andre Bernard.
Ruth was an active and cherished member of Faith Chapel Church and the North Bay Horticultural Society.
A big thank you goes out to Dr. Jani, Dr. Moore, nurses at the NBRHC Chemo department and nurses at Care Partners for the excellent care.
As per Ruth’s wishes, a memorial visitation will take place on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Faith Chapel Church (367 Delaware Ave, North Bay) with a Memorial Service to follow, Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00pm at the church.
Donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
