Passed away from this world on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the age of 89. Albertine entered the Lord’s presence with eyes Heavenward, and a smile on her face, with 5 of her 6 children as witnesses. Loving wife of “Woody” Blanchard John Wood for more than 64 years, who passed to Glory in 2005. Albertine will be sadly missed by her children Marlene Millard (Bob predeceased), Bill (Kelly), Gail Dupuis (Jacques), Audrey Hall (Bryan), Patty Sharp (Duncan) and Gary (Heather). Dear Nana of Terri-Anne, Cory, Cindra (Jim), Trina, Robyn (David), Eric (Amanda), Mandy, Laura (Matt), Bradley, Tracey, Tammy, Cheri, Cindy, Pamela, Jonathan and Anthony. Great Nana and Great Great Nana too many grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Remembered with love by her siblings Annie Owen, Al and Andy LeFrançois. Albertine was a faithful woman of God, who served her Lord as a devoted wife and mother. She had a joyous spirit which showed in all that she did. Visitation will be held at the Bethel Gospel Chapel (1710 O’Brien Street) today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Bethel Gospel Chapel on Saturday, February 18th at 1:00 PM. Spring interment at the Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
