Wilkolaski, John

Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme home for the aged on Friday October 2nd 2015 in his 85th year.  John was predeceased by his wife Mary (2013) and his parents Teofil and Zofja.  He is survived by his son Stan, sister Chessie Ericksen, brother-in-law John Ciesielski, sister-in-law Albina Gotkowski and many nieces and nephews.  In life John enjoyed his career as a salesman for Canada Bread and Silverwood Dairies and later as a vending consultant/technician for Blue Diamond Vending.  His leisure time was spent playing trumpet in the 22nd Wing Band and spending time with many family and friends at their cottage in Jocko Point.  Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Services 362 Airport Rd., on Sunday October 4th from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9pm.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 299 Airport Rd. on Monday October 5th at 10 am.  In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a donation in John’s memory please consider the Alzheimer’s Society.  Thank you to the RNs, RPNs, and PSWs of Cassellholme for their kind, compassionate and loving care shown to John during his stay.  Special thank you to his personal friend Anita for all the visits.
