WHITMAN, Lois

Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme, on Saturday, January 30, 2010. Lois (nee Bennett) was the beloved wife of the late Laurie Whitman, she was 92 years old. Loving mother of Murray Whitman (Sandi Steuart) of North Bay and mother-in-law of Dewey Haynes of Callander. She was predeceased by her daughter Marlene (February 2009) and by her infant son Sonny. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sharon Taylor (Grant), Nancy Dunbar (Gerry), Brenda Kennedy (Mike), Dana Whitman, Jason Whitman (Teena Guay), great grandchildren Jon Taylor, Candace Tarin, Trisha Dunbar, Bobby Dunbar, Tyler (Megan) Haynes, great-great grandchildren Kelsey, Josiah, Hayden and great-great-great grandchildren Aleta, Carter and Hunter.
Memorial Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday, February 6th, from 12noon until time for services at 2:00 P.M. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred this Spring in the family plot at the Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
