Peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in his 90th year. Reg Whitehead was the beloved husband of Helen (Lamb) of Trout Creek for over 65 years; proud father of Eric (Jacquie) of Callander and Brian (Donna) of North Bay; loving grandfather of April (Gord Hincks), Heidi, Kyle (Jennifer), Andrea (deceased) and Sara (deceased), and great-grandchildren Tanner, Taylor, Owen, and Brookelyn. Reg was predeceased by his siblings Jim (Edith), Harold (Hilda), Norman (Ruby), Colin (Christine), Cora (Earle Kirton), Richard (Jessie), Susanna, Warren (Iris), Harry (Wanda), Elsie, Emily, and Tom (Lois of Trout Creek). Lovingly remembered by daughter-in-law Leona Whitehead of North Bay. The Whitehead family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, July 6th from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service will take place at the Paul Funeral Home on Saturday at 11 am. Interment to follow at Trout Creek Union Cemetery.
