WENGEL, Erna

Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2006 at the North York General Hospital. Erna was born in Eastern Germany on January 25, 1920. In 1953, she emigrated to Canada and was a resident of North Bay for many years. Latterly she moved to Toronto and resided at the Gibson Retirement Home. While in North Bay she was very active in the Germania Club. Erna was predeceased by her sister Anne Marie (Bock) and by her brother. She is survived by her sister Dora Nagel of Schwansee, Germany and by several nieces and nephews. Erna will be greatly missed by all who knew her.



Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 31st from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be from the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL on Thursday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
