Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital, on Thursday, December 3, 2009. Antoinette (nee Duhaime) was the beloved wife of the late Percy Frank Welk, she was 84 years old. Dearly loved mother of five children and grandmother of 11 grandchildren. Dearly loved sister of Conrad Duhaime, Irene Nadeau, Simone Dupuis and Agnes Chenard. She was predeceased by her parents Valmore and Albertha Duhaime. Antoinette and her family were the founders of the Welk Family Restaurant on Highway 17, east of Mattawa. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Mattawa & Sloan "Mattawa Chapel" (705-744-7400) on Monday, December 7th, from 11:00 am until time for a Memorial Service in the "Mattawa Chapel" at 2:00 PM. Cremation with interment of Ashes in the Family Plot in the Pine Hills Cemetery.
