On Wednesday, September 21, 2005 Mildred Walton died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan with family by her side. She was in her 89th year. Mildred (Hoffman) was predeceased by her husband Aubrey "Dob" (1917 -1997). She was the beloved mother of Bill Walton (Diana) of North Bay, Carole Dobbs (Roy) of Powassan, Gary Walton (Laura) of Alliston, Raymond Walton (Wendy) of Callander, Randy Walton (Jennifer) of Alliston. Mildred was the dear sister of Hilda Worobey of Abbotsford, British Columbia, and Carol DeCou of Woodstock and was predeceased by Art & Walter Hoffman, Loretta Eckford, Viola Bottrell, and Stella Cotter. She will be fondly remembered by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The Walton family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, September 23, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the Nipissing Knox United Church on Saturday, September 24 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Nipissing Cemetery.
