VILLENEUVE, Ghislain Ti-père

(1943 - 2007) - The family announces with sorrow his death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the age of 64 years. Son of the late Arthur and of the late Yvonne (née Bergeron) Villeneuve. Predeceased by his spouse Sylvie Tétreault. Loving father of Daniel (Lysa) of North Bay, David (Allyson) of Red Lake and Karen Hotte (Denis) of Orillia. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Zacharie, Braeden, Mackenzie, Alexie Villeneuve and Jessie and Megan Hotte. Dear brother of Hector (Henriette) and Cléo both of Sturgeon Falls, Richard (Nelda) of Guelph, Noëlla Varabioff (Jim) of North Bay, Frida Hakojarvi (George) of Sudbury and Marielle Hurtubise of Hammond. Ghislain was a volunteer with the Scouts for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Club Calumet and a member of the Board of Directors of the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation. He was also a volunteer driver with the Canadian Cancer Society and enjoyed driving patients to their medical appointments.



The family will greet friends at La Résurrection Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Club Calumet and the ceremony for the burial of the ashes will take place at 3 p.m. at the cemetery. Donations can be made to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (cancer services). Funeral arrangements are entrusted to THÉORT-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls.
