It is with deep sadness and sorrow to inform you of the passing of Rose-Ann Viau.

We have lost a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend, Tuesday April 2, 2024, at the age of 76 years old, against the battle with cancer. Rose-Ann Viau, passed away at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice with her family by her side.

Rose-Ann, was born in London, Ontario, but lived half her life in the North Bay and surrounding area. She loved the country life but not as much as she loved her cats.

With her courageous fight against cancer this last year, she never gave up hope, never complained, and kept positive spirit until her final days, our lives will not be the same.

She will be sadly missed by her children Ann-Marie Viau, Jeanette Barry (Wade), Paul Viau (Laura) and Pauline Viau.

Favorite quote:

"If you carry one thing throughout your entire life, let it be HOPE. Let it be HOPE that you are stronger than any challenge that comes."

Our family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the wonderful compassionate nursing staff at NBRHC unit C3/D3, Nipissing Serenity Hospice, and Dr. Jinnah.

As per her wishes, there will be no funeral service, but cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Rose-Ann to Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be greatly appreciated."
