Passed away unexpectedly as a result of an accident, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on May 5, 2015 at the age of 61 years. He was preceded by his mother Antonietta DiFabio and is survived by his father Mario. Dear brother to Pina (Craig Gagnon), Leo, Joe (Lynn) and, Anna Marie (Brett Andrews). Tony will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Natalie Smith, his grandchildren; Xavier, Malcolm, Emma and their father John Smith. Cherished uncle of Natalie, Jessica, Jason, Thomas, Christina, Caitlin, Lauren, Jordan and his great nephews; Nevin, Tyler and Leo and Jamie. Tony was a member of Big Brothers and was a big brother to everyone he knew. Tony was a very caring, loving and generous man who demonstrated this every day to those he knew and loved. Tony’s greatest joy were his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. He always enjoyed a good laugh and he will be sadly missed for his mischievousness and his love for joking and teasing. Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home, 591 Cassells St., North Bay on Friday May 8 from 7 to 9 pm. A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Saturday at 11 am.
