April 24, 1933 to December 9, 2021. It is with heavy hearts that we regret to announce the passing of our mother Betty van Vliet at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Martin van Vliet (2012). Loving mother of the late John van Vliet (2018), Robert (Emma) van Vliet, Ingrid van Vliet (Andy). Cherished Oma to Jeffery (Meagan) van Vliet and Grace van Vliet and great Oma to Camryn van Vliet. Betty is survived by her younger sister Riekje Beks in the Netherlands. She will also be sadly missed by her friends and family in the Netherlands and as well as those in Canada.
The family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in memory of Betty to your favorite charity.
