1915-2008 - The family announces with sorrow her death at the Au Château, Home for the Aged, Sturgeon Falls, Friday, April 19, 2008 at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late Rodolphe and of the late Parmélia (née Nadeau) Vannier. Wife of the late Richard Bowers and of the late Pierre-Paul Turcotte. Cherished mother of Jean-Pierre Turcotte of Reno, Nevada and Christine Monaghan (Mark) of Irvine, California. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren, Timothy Monaghan of Toronto, Jennifer (David Donaldson) of Huntington Beach, California and William Robert Young of Vancouver, BC. Dear sister of Bruno Vannier (Madeleine) and Isabelle Brown (late William) both of Sturgeon Falls, Eugène Vannier (Gerry) of Oakville. Predeceased by her brother Jean-Louis Vannier(Jane of Espanola) and the late Jules Vannier (late Jeannette). Mrs Turcotte- Bowers, was retired having worked as a clerk for the Division Court in Sturgeon Falls. The family will receive friends in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, Monday, April 21, 2008 for the Funeral Mass to be held at 2 p.m. Donations to Au Château, Home for the Aged or the Canadian Cancer Society.
