After a long life Zita died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan, on Wednesday March 18, 2020, at the age of 94 years. The devoted mother of Monsignor Dave Tramontini, of North Bay, and Mary Ann Swan, (Ray) of Ottawa, she will be forever remembered by her grandsons Stephen (Elena) and Mark, and her great grandchildren Amelia and Oliver. Zita (nee Comacchio) was the beloved wife of the late Bruno Tramontini, who predeceased her in 1986.  She was also predeceased by her brothers Ugo (Francoise) of Sudbury, and Dino, and is survived by her sister Ann Baggio (Julio deceased). A faithful Christian Zita lived her life devoted to God and her church.  Born and raised in Sudbury she moved to Eastholme in 2016 to be closer to her family.  Cremation has taken place.  In order to contribute to the common public health effort to help stem the spread of COVID-19, a mass of Christian burial will be held privately for the family.  Interment will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery, Sudbury.  The family would like to thank Dr. Ng and the staff at Eastholme for their excellent care. If you choose to honor Zita’s life with a memorial donation please consider The Pro-Cathedral Building Fund.  Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home, 464 Wyld Street, North Bay, with online condolences at www.martynfh.com
