THRASHER, Laurel Marie

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, December 29^th, 2022, at the age of 75. Laurel Marie Thrasher (nee Vizena) was the beloved wife of James Victor Thrasher for 51 years. Loving mother of Carrie Thrasher-Sanderson (Jason) and her honorary family Charlotte and Mark Giddens (Violet and Ivy). She will be lovingly remembered as “Nana” by her granddaughter Sarah Sanderson. Dearly remembered by her siblings Marilyn Bruce (Late Stan Bruce), Susan Shedden (Bob Shedden), Ann Sears (late Ray Sears), brother-in-law George Thrasher (Gloria Thrasher) and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Laurel Vizena (Rick), Ruby Ellen (nee Bentley) and Alberta (nee Sears). Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the St. Joseph Mother House on Saturday, January 14^th from 2-5. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow later at a later date.
