THOMPSON, Murray Edward

Peacefully on August 18, 2005 at the North Bay General Hospital in his 54th year. Loving husband of Terry (nee Hummel). Devoted father of Taylor and Haley. Murray was the beloved son of Jean Thompson and the late William Thompson. He will be sadly missed by his sister Susan Brideau (Bryon) and brother Richard Thompson (Charles St. John). Dear son-in-law of Mel and Marilyn Hummel. Murray touched the lives of his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers, he was always there with a helping hand. Murray retired from Hydro One after 29 years as a lineman and he always enjoyed fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. Family receiving friends for a memorial visitation on Monday, August 22, from 7 to 8 p.m. at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES. Memorial service to follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in memory of Murray to the North Bay General Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
