THOMPSON, Angus "Gus" Theodore (retired, Ontario Hydro)

Mr. Angus Thompson, formerly of Callander, died peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Sunday, November 20, 2005. He was in his 87th year. Angus was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Isabel (Poole) and was the loving father of Ron Thompson (Cheryl) of Stockton, Iowa, Jane Soldera (Peter) of Hamilton, John Thompson (Betty) of Arnprior. Angus was the proud grandfather of Heather of North Bay, Beverley of Kitchener, Emily of Ottawa, Kathleen of Hamilton and Theodore (Ted) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He is survived by his sister Mildred Lloyd of Denbigh and supportive friend Marg Gushue of Callander. Immediate cremation will be followed by a graveside service at Callander Union Cemetery, to be announced in the spring, 2006.
