TAYLER, Carol Viola (nee Comerford)

The Tayler family regrets to announce the passing of Carol on Wednesday, January 18th, 2017, at the age of 77. Carol was the loving wife of Fred Tayler, and mother of Laura Greer (Wayne) and Matthew (Pamela). Her prized grandchildren are Kevin and Andrew Greer, and Emily and Gregory Tayler. Carol was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Viola (McIvor) Comerford, in-laws Barbara (Tayler) and James Ronan, and brother-in-law Barry Tayler. She is survived by her sisters Pat Downard (Jay), Maureen, Janet and Joanne Comerford; sister-in-law Betty Jane Tayler; Shirley Tayler as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Carol retired from North Bay City Hall in 1996. Carol was a Living Fit Lady, a member of the Heritage Gardeners, a Canadian Club Member, and a member of North Bay's Art Community; she painted in water colours and was an avid golfer. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The interment of ashes will be held at a later time at Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
