Peacefully, on March 27, 2019, in her 89
th year, Colette Tancredi (Lebel) died at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. She leaves behind her sons Charles (Wendy) and John (Christina), her grandchildren, Sarah, Bridget, Nigel and Beau, a great grandchild Lily, her brother Gilbert Lebel and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gaetano (Jim), her sister Laura (Mike), her brothers; Jean-Guy (Heidi), Rheal (Jeanine), Yvon (Mona), Jean-Paul (Argie), Raymond (Bernadette), Gilles and her parents Alec and Marie Lebel. Colette was a wonderful caregiver, she was in nursing for more than 40 years, spending most of her career as supervisor and head nurse at the North Bay Civic Hospital. She was a woman of deep faith who took great pleasure in having family and friends in her kitchen always making sure they were well fed. She was both a humble and proud person. She loved sharing her children and grandchildren’s’ accomplishments, yet she would not boast of all that she had achieved in her life. Visitation is at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday March 31, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Monday April 1
st, 2019 at 10 am. Special thanks to the staff at the Empire Living Centre, North Bay Regional Health Centre, Dr Graham and her dear friends Andree and Cecile who took such great care of her. Donations to a charity of your choice are appreciated.
