Passed away on February 14th, 2024 at the age of 73.
Beloved wife of 50 years to Terry Talentino (passed away on February 6, 2024). Proud mother to David Parsons (Saskia), Shannon Leversedge (Renton), and Cristin Talentino, all of whom she loved with her whole heart. Predeceased by her granddaughter, Isla Rose. Dedicated and loving Nana to Henley, Aida and Tavin Leversedge and grandmother to Liam, Andrew and Catherine Parsons. Loving sister to Elizabeth Ackroyd (McConkey) and Robert McConkey.
Mary Lynn was born in Barrie, ON, and grew up in North Bay, ON. From a young age, she shared her love of the outdoors through skiing, hiking, biking and enjoying cottage life at Georgian Bay with her family. She was an educational assistant for the Near North District School Board for 23 years. Colleagues will always remember her for her patience, work ethic, and sense of humour she brought to school every day. She was forever dedicated to helping and caring for everyone around her.
Her hobbies included volunteering for a variety of community organizations including the North Bay Heritage Gardeners, implementing the Centennial School playground, school library volunteer, and being a member of Living Fit. She was also an accomplished quilter. Her thoughtfulness, quick wit, and quiet leadership will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
