TAIT, Francis 'Pete' Thomas Martin

January 31, 1930 - January 22, 2007 passed away suddenly at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Joseph Tait and Florence McKenna. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Minnie (Jennings). Loving and devoted father to Martin (Jean), Florence Ronora (Brent), Raymond (Bev), Arthur (Valerie), Katherine Duquette, Dolores, Jeannette Mulligan (Archie), Michael (Theresa). also survived by his 11 grandchildren, Wayne, Leanne (Tim), Billie- Joe, Joni-Ann, Curtis (Chantal), Brian, Andrew, Kristy, Jeffrey, Troy and Daniel. Special great-grandfather to Samantha and Peyton. Will be fondly remembered by his step-grandchildren, Sheila, Danny, Jessica and Bill. He will be always remembered by daughter-in-law, Sue Bellefeuille. Loving brother to Rita Flintoff (Doug), Jerry Tait (Ellen), Joan Charbonneau (Allan, deceased), Erma 'Peggy' Cook (Raymond), Zita Valliquette (Wayne), Alfred Tait (Margaret), Irving Tait (Edda), Inez McQuirter (William). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Peter (1986), two infant sons and one granddaughter, a brother, Lawrence and a sister Patricia.

Pete was a life-long resident of Stonecliffe, ON and a dedicated M.T.O. employee Diocese.

Friends may call at the Valley funeral Home, Deep River, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be will be celebrated on Friday, January 26 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River. Interment, Our Lady of the Snows Parish Cemetery, Stonecliffe (in the Spring).
