Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, July 26th, 2019. Bill, was the beloved husband of Judith Dianne “Judy” (nee Robertson). Loving father of Sarah Chalykoff (Ryan), Kristin Noble (Jeff), Erin Humphrey (Jason), David Bookalam (Ariel) and Marlaine Anderson-Lindsay (Stephen). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Stella, Veronica, William, Samantha, Nolan, Jack, Megan, Freya, Lumen, Wynne, Baden and Lucas. Dear brother of Peter (Sherrill) and predeceased by his parents Fred & Mary Szumik and by his brother Paul. Bill’s ashes will be buried at the Terrace Lawn Cemetery during a Private Ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to an Open House at Bill and Judy’s home on Wednesday, July 31st, from 2:00-5:00 PM. If desired, donations to the Gathering Place (www.thegatheringplacenorthbay.ca) will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
