It is with great sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Joanne in North Bay on Thursday, July 29, 2021. She has left behind her greatest joy, her daughter Kassandra Leblanc (Alexander) and granddaughter Lily. Joanne is predeceased by her father John Symons and survived by her mother Shirley Ashford (Leonard) and her siblings John, Fred, Bill, Jennifer, Mike and Ken. She will also be missed by her extended family and long-time friend Jason Degagne as well as many other friends. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Service date to be announced. "A limb has fallen from the family tree, that says grieve not for me, remember the best times, the laughter, the songs, the good life I loved when I was strong"~ unkown.
