STRIPE, George H. Jr.

Suddenly at his home at Niagara Falls on March 9, 2006, in his 70th year, after a valiant struggle with renal failure and cancer. Dearly loved father of Deirdre (Dee) Lawrence of Sutton, On, and George Stripe III (Dawn) of Restoule, On. Devoted Grandpa to Michael and Laena Lawrence, and Stephanie, Samantha and Georgie Stripe. Lovingly remembered by Allecia Stripe of Restoule. George will be deeply missed by his family in Ohio: sister Barbara Chapman, and brothers, Jim (Naoko)and Bob (Brenda), as well as his Aunt Ruth and Uncle Gib McCune. Dear son-in-law to Stella McVeety, and brothers-in-law Kurt (Shirley) McVeety, Stuart McVeety and Mike (Tammy) McVeety. Remembered fondly by son-in-law Rob Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and George Stripe Sr.

Visitation will be on Friday evening, March 24, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan, On. Memorial service to be held on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the Paul Funeral Home.
