Passed away at the North Bay General Hospital in the presence of her family, on Tuesday, June 15th, 2004 at the age of 71 years. Cherished mother of Chris and Sylvia, both of Burlington, Audrey is also survived by their father Peter Strache. Dearly loved sister of Sheila Cowper of North Bay and Marjorie Wilkin of Little Current. Special aunt and dear friend of Nancy Pigden. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and her beloved pug 'Oscar. Formerly of Burlington, Audrey worked at Appleby Place prior to retiring. Friends may call at the Island Funeral Home, Little Current, on Saturday, June 19th from 12:30 p.m. until time for a memorial service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment of ashes in the Mountain View Cemetery. If desired donations to the North Bay & District Humane Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
