1942-2007 - It is with great sadness that his family announces his passing on Sunday, May 6, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. Devoted husband of 40 years to Winnie. Loving father of Cheryl and proud grandpa of Anthony. He is survived by his mother Gladys Stewart Powell, his brother Boyd Stewart (Joan) and his sister Myrna (George Maxwell). He is predeceased by his father David Stewart, his brothers Ross and Kirk and his sister Sheila. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Internment at Union Cemetery in Sturgeon Falls.
