ST. DENIS, Joseph

At North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site Friday, April 21, 2006. Joe St. Denis, beloved husband of Edna Stewart, in his 65th year. Dearly loved father of Lynn Allard (Mark) and Kelly Lichty (Brian). Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Trevor and Thomas Brown and Grace and Aiden Lichty. Dear brother of Helene Shank ( late Maurice ) of North Bay, Carole Legault (Bob) of Sudbury, Shirley Legault (Darryl) of Oshawa, Sharon Legault (Bob) of Sarnia, Shannon St. Denis (Judy) of Longlac, Mickey St. Denis (Rhea) of Windsor. Predeceased by his parents Valerie and William St. Denis, sister Marie and brothers Lucien, Len and Mel St. Denis. The greatest love of his life was his wife Edna.



Joey was a well known musician who liked nothing better than entertaining people. He recorded many albums and CDs. He had a quick wit and enjoyed sharing jokes with everybody he met, making people laugh. He volunteered countless hours to the Children's Aid Society as a driver and loved the children's presence. He also loved living on the lake at Jocko Point, spending his last years there. Many a night was spent around the campfire entertaining friends. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.



Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A reception at the family residence, 605 Jocko Point Road , North Bay to celebrate Joe's life will be held, Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Children's Aid Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
