Souliere, Gloria (nee Veltri)

January 26, 1927 – passed away peacefully on Monday January 13th 2014 in her 87th year surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence Souliere (1996).  Loving and devoted mother of Robert Souliere (Ruth Anne) of Corbeil, Rosemary Hayman of North Bay, Joseph Souliere of Toronto and Anna Marie Rothwell (Roderick) of North Bay.  Cherished and loved grandmother of Brandon Hayman (Christie) of North Bay, Aaron Hayman (Brittney) of Mississauga, Elinore Hayman, Haley Rothwell and Abigail Rothwell all of North Bay.  Loving sister of Frances (Fanny) Schiavo (late Albert), Mary Costante (Albert) all of North Bay, Josie Troy (late Bill) of Rockwood, Ont, Jack Veltri of North Bay, and Rudy Veltri (Evelyn) of Toronto.  Predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Concetta Veltri (nee Cardamone). Also predeceased by brothers Ernesto (late Louise) Veltri, Anthony (Tony) (late Alice) Veltri , Gerry (late Marjorie) Veltri; by her loving sister Rita Anello (late Angelo) of Philadelphia, USA and by her Godson, Louis (Satch) Costante of North Bay. Gloria’s life time passions and interests were her Italian culture, fan of Toronto hockey and baseball teams, lover of nature and much loved family gatherings.  She was a parishioner of St Rita’s parish and a devoted member of the C.W.L. for many years. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and will remain engraved in our hearts for always.  A special thanks to Dr. Preston and nurse’s/PSW’s who cared for our mother throughout her transition. Visitations at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Thursday January 16th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St Peter the Apostle Church , 299 Airport Rd, on Friday January 17th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family.  Online condolences can be made at www.hillsidefuneral.ca
