SMITH, Max Ray

Max Smith died peacefully on Sunday, January 13, 2008 with his family by his side, at his home in Chisholm Township. He was in his 89th year. Max was predeceased by his wife Verna Alexandrina Lewis (1920-1978). He was the beloved father of Calvin Smith (Lynn) of Chisholm and grandfather of Christopher, Adam and Patricia Smith. Max was predeceased by his brothers Lester and Howard Smith and is survived by his sisters- in-law Noreen Smith of North Bay, Florence Smith of Azilda and Jean McGurk of Toronto.



The Smith family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9. Pastors Charlie Jackson and David Johnston will conduct the funeral service at 11 am on Friday, January 18 at Powassan Wesleyan Church. Spring interment Boxwell Cemetery.
