Mr. Len Smith died peacefully at North Bay General Hospital on Friday, December 26th 2003 in his 81st year. Len Smith was predeceased by his parents Addie (Peever) and Spence Smith, his brothers George and Clarence Smith and his sisters Alice Laferriere, Jean Delaney and Delta Kincaid. He was the loving father of Linda Giglio (Joe) of Keswick, Shawnee Johnson (Marty) of North Bay, Wendy Loy (Rob) of Powassan, and Lorrie Santangelo (Ben) of Richmond Hill. Grandfather of Rex Wood (Wendy), Eric. Lisa and Serena Santangelo, Kevin and Ian Loy, and great-grandfather of Bryanna Wood. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan (705-724-2024) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion Tribute at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Boxwell Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in Len’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or the charity of your choice.
