After a lengthy illness, passed peacefully at Cassellholme on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, in her 81st year. Dear wife of the late Capt. Richard (Dick) Smith. Loving mother of L.Col. Robert Smith (wife Diane) of North Bay, Carol Wilker (husband Barry) of Sarnia and Susan Beauchamp (husband Marcel) of Orleans. Sadly missed by grandchildren Derek, Lisa, Cathy, Ryan, Marie, Connie and Ian and by four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Muriel Johnson and Dorothy Owen and by her brother William Martin. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. Interment of ashes with her husband at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
