SMITH, Eileen

Loved by so many, Eileen brought joy to those around through her grace, her kindness, her generosity, and her fine wit. She passed away at Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron, Thursday, May 4, 2006 at the age of 88. Eileen (née Harvey) was the beloved wife of the late Herbert 'Bud' Smith and loved mother of Sharron Celestini (John), Allan Smith (Patricia) both of Sudbury, Deborah Kilbride of North Bay and Margaret Brown (Rod) of Edmonton, Alberta. She will be lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren - Anthony Celestini, Robert Davis, Susan Davis-Bailey, Jennifer Smith, Jason Brown and Catherine Kilbride and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Kevin (Anne), Neil (Lois), Leo (Madelaine), Vera, Sister Margaret Harvey and Hilary Pacheco (Joe). Predeceased by her parents, Annie and Tom Harvey and one sister, Zita Byrd.



Family and friends may pay their respects at MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church, Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkinson Association of Canada or Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
