Fernand J. décédée a L’Hôpital Général de Mattawa, le 31 mars, 2011. Bien aimé de Marie (née Doucette) prédécédé, de qui il a mane le 30 août, 1954. Survécu de s’est enfants, Maurice (Theresa), Ginette (Dale Brown) de Mattawa, Rolland (Christine) de Sudbury, Denis (Huguette) of Hanmer, s’est petits-enfants, Tracy Lynn, Marc (Pamela), Joey, Kevin, Joanne, Andréanne, Justin et petits-enfants, Émily, Trenton, Tyler, Tyson et son chat adore, Ti-mothé >>. Frère bien aimé de Marcel (Norma), de Eau Claire, Lucien (Andrienne) et Pierrette Godin de Val Caron, Arcène, Camille et Thérèse Courschene tous prédécédés. Toujours doux dans son parlé, hors d’une discussion à propos l’industrie forestière, des chevaux ou une skiddeuse. Quand au travaille et dans le bois, il était dans sa glore. II manquait terriblement son épouse après sa mont mais était toujours entouré de sa famille qui adorait beaucoup.




Fernand passed away peacefully at the Mattawa General Hospital, Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the age of 83. Loving husband of Marie (née Doucette), predeceased, whom he married on August 30th, 1954. Survived by his children, Maurice, (Theresa), Ginette (Dale Brown) all residing in Mattawa; Pauline (predeceased), Rolland (Christine) of Sudbury; Denis (Huguette) of Hanmer; his dear grandchildren Tracy Lynn, Marc, Joey, Kevin, Joanne, Andréanne, Justin; great grand-children, Emily, Trenton, Tyler and Tyson; and his beloved cat “Ti-mothé.” Brother of Marcel (Norma), of Eau Claire, Lucien (Andrienne), Pierrette Godin of Val Caron, Arcène, Camille and Thérèse Courschene, all predeceased. Always soft-spoken and in the background, he let out this inner passion when a conversation would ensue about logging, horses or skidders. Being out working in the bush is where he was the most comfortable as he enjoyed it tremendously. It was never work to him. He cherished his wife dearly and missed her desperately after her passing. Not one to express outward emotion, he was secretly very proud of his children and family. The family will be receiving family and friends at Martyn & Sloan "Mattawa Chapel", on Monday, April 4th from 11am to 2pm. Church service will follow at the Mattawa, Église Saint-Anne. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
