SIMMS, Margaret Emmeline (nee Lillew)

Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital - Scollard Site on Monday, December 10, 2007. Born in Toronto on November 18, 1918 to George and Edna Lillew. Margaret was the beloved wife of Eddy Simms, whom she married on July 18, 1942. Loving mother of Carla (Bob) of New Liskeard and Nancy Simms of Mississauga. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Steven Drury (fiancée Shelbie) and Jason Drury (finacee Tammy), and great grandchildren Brendan and Chase Drury. Predeceased by her sisters Lucille Gurak and Helen Luddington. After several moves throughout Northern Ontario, Eddy and Margaret settled in Englehart in 1949, and then moved to North Bay in 1988. While in Englehart she was involved with Christ Church Anglican. Margaret enjoyed camping, reading, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her family.



Friends may call at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday December 13th from 1 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow with spring burial at St. John's Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged.
