In Loving Memory of Keith Serson

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Keith Earl Serson on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 75. (As a Leap Year Baby, he would have turned 19 this February 29.)

Keith will be deeply missed by his sons, Kelly (Leashea) and Robby (Amie), granddaughters Amanda (Guy) and Aylana (Ryan), and their mother, Patti Serson. He is now reunited with his lifelong friend Valerie Croghan and his beloved dog, Missy.

Predeceased by his parents, Earl Douglas and May Agnes and his siblings, Terry, and Carol and his niece Connie. Survived by his nephew Roger and nieces Debbie (Carl), and Terrie. He will be dearly missed by many family and friends.

Born and raised in North Bay, Keith took great pride in being from Northern Ontario. He cherished the region's natural beauty and embraced its activities, finding joy in hunting, fishing, and working on his farm. Keith's sons were the light of his life, and they were often found spending time together at the hunt camp with his closest family and friends. Keith was a longstanding member of the North Bay Kinsmen Club. He served as an OPP Auxiliary officer, operated the Lookout Inn, worked as a salesman for the Stockfish family, and worked for Hostess Foods.

A dedicated hockey coach since his boys were 6 years old in North Bay, Keith's impact has been felt by many.

Keith's family will be receiving friends at the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday, January 21, from 1:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm. Following the service, cremation will take place, with interment in the Serson Plot at the North Bay Union Cemetery this summer.

In honour of Keith's longstanding ties to the Trinity United Church, any donations to support the church would be deeply cherished as an expression of sympathy.
