Jack was a lifetime soldier of the Salvation Army North Bay Corps.

Jack owned and operated North West Canvas for decades, teaching future generations his trade and passing on his keen business skills to many.  A well-respected small businessman he was a long-time member of the Rotary Club and West Ferris Legion. He played and sponsored many local teams and organizations over the years. In his retirement years he was a dedicated volunteer with the Heritage Railway & Carousel Company.  His lifetime passion was always his family. He thoroughly enjoyed gardening, fishing, and being at the camp.

When any of the kids, or grandkids were around he could always be counted on to meet them at that carousel/train, or mentor them on his flowers, fishing or just talking to them about anything that was going on with their life.

His love of gardening, birds, fishing, camping will continue in the family through many members.

Visitation will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home, Monday March 20, 2023, 2-4 pm and 6-8pm.  Funeral Service Tuesday March 21, 2023, at 11 am at the Salvation Army Citadel at 134 McIntyre St.

Special Thanks to nurse Melissa and his brothers Rick and Dan for always being with him.

In Lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army North Bay Corps or The North Bay Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.

Dad you will always be a part of us.  We will miss you forever. Xo
