With heavy hearts, the Seguin Family sadly announces the sudden death of Vic 'Pops' Seguin at the North Bay General Hospital on Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Vic enjoyed being with his many friends, both in North Bay and Kirkland Lake, who always remained dear to his heart. Enjoying the simple things and life at the Sess cottage, playing cards and telling fibs with a straight face - he lived life to the fullest! A playful and devoted 'Pops', he always told the grandchildren crazy stories about their Granny! Vic will be sadly missed by his loving wife, May, children Shelley (David) Lynch and Scott (Cheri). Pops was so proud of his grandchildren: Emily, Alison, Taylor, and Cody. He will be fondly remembered by his sister, Louise Cright and his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, who cherished the good times. Predeceased by his parents: Odile and Alcide, sister Claudette Boyer and brother-in-law Jack Cright. He will be joining his faithful companion Barney. There will be no visitation or service at this time, according to his wishes. A Memorial gathering will be held, in Kirkland Lake, in the spring. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation, Box 2500, North Bay, Ontario, P1B 5A4 would be appreciated. "We all loved you!"
