Peacefully, at North Bay General Hospital- Scollard Site on Saturday February 17th, 2007. Mel, beloved husband of the late Iris Schultz (Lampman)in his 80th year. He will be lovingly remembered by his children James (Bobbi), Jayne (Matt) & John (Christine). He was “gramps“ to Jackie, Mike, Kelly, Jason, Justin, Jordan, JJ, Mitchell, Kerri & Jenna. Also survived by a brother James Schultz (Ruth) and many nieces and nephews. Mel was a proud OPP officer for 34 years. He served in Atikokan, Kenora, Sudbury, Madoc before retiring as a Corporal in Sombra.



Visitation will be held at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday February 20th from 9 to 11 am. Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation. In lieu of flowers a donation to VOICE for Hearing Impaired Children- Near North Chapter or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
