SAVAGE, Audna

Peacefully with her family at her side after a brief illness on Friday March 18, 2005 at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by her beloved Jacques Bedard. Loving mother of Alice-Ann Hopkins (husband Murray) of North Bay, Sheryzad Savage-Amyotte (husband Rejean) of North Bay, Susan (Jo) Jordan (husband Nicholas) of Union, Ontario, and Percy 'Corky' Savage (wife Christine) of Redbridge. Sadly missed by grandchildren Caroline Croteau (Danny), Andrew and Adam Hopkins, Jo-Ann (Eric Gamache), Marquise and Noelle Amyotte, Gregory and Angele Jordan and Keith, Erik and Kristen Savage and by great-grandchildren Marie-Soleil, Frederike and William Croteau. Survived by sisters Sylvia Giroux, Rose-Mai Knight and Malvina Elrick and by brothers Redolphe, Andre, Achille, Mac, Daniel and Victor Nadon. Predeceased by her parents Alice and Oscar Nadon, by her brother Telesphore Nadon and by sisters Claudia Leblond, Adelia Giroux and Agathe Belecque. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Audna had recently retired from City Laundry where she worked for 40 years. Her life was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and she always looked forward to family gatherings. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) today, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Angels Church on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
