ROY, Robert Clinton

(January 5th 1940 - September 18th, 2007) - Rob passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the North Bay General Hospital-Scollard Site. Loving father to Robyn (Jason Tarshis), Marnie (Peter Brunette) and Jayme (Michael Burke). Caring grandfather of Jenna and Jack Tarshis, Courtney, Benjamin and Matthew Brunette. Predeceased by his parents Clinton and Isabelle Roy. Dear brother of Eileen (Keith Fraser), well loved uncle of Cheryl Pellerin (Wayne Culling), Jamie Fraser (Kathy), Kathryn (Tom Schnerch), Steven Colyer (Delphanie), Janet (James Lynch) and David Colyer. Proud great-uncle of 8 and great-great uncle of 3. Rob was a retired teacher, an active member of the Curling Club and an avid fisherman. Many thanks to his friends who were of great help and support to him and his “girls“ over the course of his illness.



Friends may call at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
