1923-2008. The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday, March 24, 2008, at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late Joseph and Marie- Louise (née Greene) Stevens. Predeceased by her companion Albert Lefebvre. Loving mother of Henry Roy of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Doreen Roy (Carol) of Calgary, Alberta, Linda Roy, Marjorie Lafrance (Jean Paul), both of Garden Village and Norman Roy (Gina) of Red Lake. Predeceased by her sons, Roonie and Raymond. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren, Ray, Cynthia, Rodney, Nawkwe, Quentin, Gail, Ross, Tracey, Trevor, Jody, Sandra, Keith, Wendy, Jason, Leah and Julie, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Michael, great-grandson Daniel. Also survived by her brother Gilbert Stevens of North Bay. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Blaker (Walter), Martha Clemens (Frank), Exilia Osawabine (David), Doris and Doreen Stevens and her brothers John, Joseph Jr. Aloysius, Benedict, Philias, Frederick, Thomas and Mathias. The family will receive friends at THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday from 2 until 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village, Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. Special thanks to the Nurses of the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls for all their kindness and support to the Roy family.
