Ross, Eugene

(1929-2015) – Eugene passed away peacefully on February 4th, surrounded by his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was 85. Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Joan, his brother Doug Ross (Shirley), and his sister Kay. Dear father of Jane McCann (Jeff), Ian Ross (Cindy) and Heather Yarlasky (John). Proud grandfather of Jeff McCann Jr, Sarah Marshall, Rebecca Thompson, Kellie and Michael Ross, and Kaitlyn and Emily Yarlasky. Eugene was the proud business owner of Anderson and Ross Overhead Doors, which he built in 1967. He was a hard working, family man who enjoyed his time hunting, fishing and spending his summers with his family at the cottage, which he built on the French River. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff on B1 at North Bay Regional Health Centre, especially Mark, Christine, Steve, Nicole, and Shelly. In keeping with Eugene`s wishes, there will be no visitation or service but rather a private family gathering at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES.
