Peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday April 12, 2008 at the Mattawa General Hospital. Noella (nee Bellaire) was the beloved wife of the late Donald Rose, in her 74th year. Loving mother of Roger “Roddy“ (Joyceline), Ronald (Jane), Andrew “Buck“ (Donna), Darlene Pilon (Maurice), Bradley (Lynn), Connie MacKenzie (Ian), Edward (Danica), Emily Rose, Dawson (Elizabeth), Jean Decaire (Les), and Denzel (Karen). Dear grandmother of 30, great-grandmother of 20, and great-great grandmother of 1. Survived by her brothers Exior (Theresa), Raymond (Bernadette), Edward, Romeo (Rita), and sister Cecile (Gerry). Predeceased by her son Barry, brother Lionel, sister Adela Chicquen, and parents Cordellia St. Eloi & Edward Joseph Bellaire. Noella was the “Resident President“ at Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa for the last 3 years. Friends may call at MARTYN & SLOAN “Mattawa Chapel“ (744-7400) on Wednesday April 16th from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday April 17th from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Funeral service will follow at St. Anne's Church at 11 a.m. Spring interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Rutherglen.
