Milly Rogerson (nee Kotschenreuter) was born on the second floor of Wagner’s General Store in Arnstien Ontario on April 2, 1927, the eldest of three daughters to bless Elsa (nee Junghanns), and Albert Kotschenreuter.  Milly passed away peacefully at Cassellholme in North Bay on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, in her 97th year, with her family at her side.

For sixty-five years, Milly was the loving wife to Roy Rogerson until his passing in April 2014.

Milly was a devoted mother to Gerry, Mark (Marty), and Jeff (Linda), proud grandmother to Daniel (Cassie), Meghan (Matthew), Nathan (Heather), Alexandra (Hugh), and Mitchell, and a cherished great grandmother to Connor, Ethan, Owen, Aubrey, Sophia, Quinn, Evelyn, Amelia, and Lillian Rae.

Milly was a dedicated employee of RBC, starting her career in Huntsville, Ontario in the mid 1940’s. In 1949 as a new bride, she and Roy relocated to North Bay where she continued with RBC until 1951 when she left to start her family.  She returned to the bank in 1971 and remained until her retirement in 1991.

Milly enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, painting, baking, playing the piano, and most of all, looking after her family whom she cherished deeply. She was a longtime and dedicated member of Emmanuel United Church in North Bay.
