RODGERS: Vernon Clifford

Vernon Rodgers passed away Friday, November 16th, into the presence of his Lord and Saviour. He was in his 89th year. Vernon was the beloved husband of Doris (nee Wood), who predeceased him March 27th, 2002. Loving father of Gary (Sharon) of North Bay; David (Ruth Ann) of Chile, SA; Bruce (Becky) of Sudbury. Remembered by his grandchildren: Marla (Mike Trahan), Peggy-Lynne (Scott Berry), Ryan; Cheryl (Pablo Seguel), Michael (Sharica), Esther (Javier Peralta), Elizabeth; Stephen (Melissa), Jeremy (TiTi); and 14 great grandchildren. Brother to Blanche Carter, Gerald, Iris Pratt and Dora Aldred. Predeceased by seven siblings: Wilber, Durrell, Elsie, Viola, Harold, Greta, Doris and granddaughters, Marlene and Alicia. Visitation for Vernon will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday from 7:30 – 9:30 PM and on Monday, November 19th from 11:30 am until time for the Funeral Service in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to Elim Homes or to Missionary work in Chile. Online condolences at www.martynfh.com.
